We are situated on over 5 acres in a beautiful suburb of Yuroke which is just out of Greenvale. There is a large amount of property around us which means lots of fresh air and a relaxing environment for your pets.
Who We Are
We are a small family-owned Boarding kennel that treats every animal as if they are our own.
Owned by Shellie Marshall, an International All Breeds Judge, this kennel has all the love and care that is given to her own animals. Shellie has been involved in breeding and showing Weimaraners and Dalmatians from a very early age. Under the Pampard Dalmatians and “Grauhund Weimaraners” Shellie has had a very active role. Both kennels have had success in winning Best in Show at Melbourne and Sydney Royal, National, Specialty and All Breeds Best in Shows.
Countryside Pet Resort is located just 10 minutes from Melbourne airport and 30 minutes from Melbourne CBD. We are situated on 5 acres in a beautiful suburb of Yuroke which is just out of Greenvale. Our property location and size offers fresh air and a relaxing environment for your pets.
Being so close to Melbourne Airport means that you can drop off your animal on the way to your flights.
Our Kennel Priorities & Services
Your Pet Welfare is our Top Priority
It is in a beautiful setting with lots of open space and fresh air so the animals feel very relaxed.
We have a 24-hour veterinary practise on call to us at any time of the day should any issues arise.
All our kennels are cleaned twice daily and disinfected with a disinfectant that is bactericidal, virucidal, fungicidal, sporicidal. F10 is one of the leading disinfectants on the market.
Our disinfectant is Biodegradable & ecologically friendly. It is non-corrosive, non-toxic, non-tainting, non-irritating, aldehyde-free.
Best Quality Pet Foods
Shellie has had extensive knowledge in the pet food industry previously working for a pet food manufacturer. With this in mind she has decided to feed her guests only the best, Royal Canin.
This premium food is extremely palatable which means your pet will just LOVE it. We feed in both the morning and afternoon.
Royal Canin is nutritionally complete so doesn’t need any additives however if your pet would prefer, we are happy to add some wet food.
All cats are fed both Royal canine dry food and Whiskas wet food, all flavours.
Should you wish to bring your own food you must label clearly the food and give written instructions.
Should, however, your pet have a particular food that he or she must eat then we are happy for you to bring it in for us to feed.
We do not charge any extra for treats as this is a standard item that is given to our own dogs so we feel they should also go to our guests.
Dog Kennels & Runs
We are one of the few kennels that have outdoor runs for your dogs. Every indoor dog kennel has its own run attached and outside yard offering a large undercover area to cater for all weather and is fully secured. The kennels and runs are large enough to comfortably house multiple animals.
Cattery
Every cat enclosure has a scratching post and a play area for cats to have fun and are big enough for either 1 or 2 cats with plenty of room to move.
Pet Transportation
We offer a convenient Delivery/Pick up service in our modern air-conditioned vehicles.
We try very hard to work in with your commitments so endevour to be with you at a time that is most suitable.
This service is available Monday to Friday except for Public Holidays.
Should you require your animal to travel anywhere in Australia or overseas we offer a complete Pet Transport service.

Providing Animal Transportation, Pick Up & Delivery
We offer a convenient Delivery/Pick up service in our modern air-conditioned vehicles.
We try very hard to work in with your commitments so endevour to be with you at a time that is most suitable.
This service is available Monday to Friday except for Public Holidays. We provide Pet Pickup from Mickleham Post Entry Quarantine Facility and can bring them to our kennel.
Should you require your animal to travel anywhere in Australia or overseas we offer a complete Pet Transport service.
